UCHE NWOSU - ABOUT THE ARTIST
UCHE Nwosu studied Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (South Eastern Nigeria) between 1986 and 1991. He specialized in Painting. Since graduation, he has participated in local and international exhibitions, including a solo exhibition at Nigeria's Gallery, Freedom park, Lagos; National Gallery of Art, Lagos, (Shadows, Mountain and Valley) National Museum (fleeting Essence 1996), Lagos and another at Goethe institute Lagos (Together but Separate - 2003).
He contributes reviews to the Guardian Newspaper in Lagos and works at the National Gallery of Art as a Chief Research Officer. He is also the current (ex)Secretary of the Association of Nigerian Authors in Lagos.
